DEI Training for Employees

SHI provides online training modules for employees that are focused on increasing awareness, in conjunction with enabling productive and honest conversations surrounding sensitive topics including race, gender, implicit bias and more. Our trainings provide specific awareness towards employees with different identities and backgrounds - teaching how others can experience the workplace in vastly different ways.

Diverse Talent Acquisition/Retention

We are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect — where equal employment opportunities are available to all workers within and outside of SHI. Our most important assets are our diverse employees reflective of SHI's broader community. We acknowledge and support the collective sum of individual differences, life experiences, knowledge, innovation, self-expression, unique capabilities, and talent our employees bring.

Fostering Inclusive Communication

Examples include Black History, Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage, Pride, and Hispanic Heritage month through webinars, panels, events, and interviews from SHI employees - focusing on providing a voice where one may have not existed previously.
